Congressmen should form groups and teams to serve people in a systematic manner
Jaipur: Reacting to barbs from the BJP leaders over PM Cares ventilators issue, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday pointed out that a team of engineers deputed by the Centre failed to rectify the ventilators.
CM Ashok Gehlot was addressing the virtual meeting of the PCC which was also addressed by PCC president Govind Singh Dotasra and state incharge Ajay Maken. BJP in charge for Rajasthan Arun Singh had on Sunday said that the CM was not using ventilators as it might have made PM Narendra Modi famous.
Reacting to the charges, Gehlot said that the opposition should refrain from making uncalled for statements without knowing the factual details. Gehlot said that the team was sent by the Centre to rectify the ventilators but they failed to make them functional. The CM demanded action against those who are guilty in this entire matter.
Gehlot said that the state government has decided to provide free vaccines to the youth who are between the age of 18 years and 44 years of age, which will put an extra burden of Rs 3,000 crores on the exchequer.
