Modi Season 2 – CM to PM trailer: Mahesh Thakur returns in the titular role
The trailer of Modi Season 2 – CM to PM gives us ample glimpses of the different stages of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s political life over the years.
Modi: Journey Of A Common Man is back with its second season. Titled Modi Season 2 – CM to PM, the Eros Now original web series has been helmed by Umesh Shukla and Ashish Wagh. The makers of the web series on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi released its trailer on Wednesday.
The 10-episode first season released in April 2019 and chronicled Narendra Modi’s life from his growing up years to becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Now, the three-episode Modi Season 2 – CM to PM will follow Modi’s journey through the political corridors of Gujarat, the challenges he faced while serving three consecutive terms as the CM to ultimately becoming the Prime Minister of India.
The trailer gives us ample glimpses of the different stages of Modi’s political life over the years.
While Mahesh Thakur stars in the titular role, the web series also features Ashish Sharma, Faizal Khan, Darshan Jariwalla, Prachee Shah Paandya, Makrand Deshpande and Anang Desai. Modi Season 2 – CM to PM will premiere on Eros Now on November 12.
Mahesh expressed happiness about playing the titular role in Modi Season 2 – CM to PM. He said in a statement, “Ever since childhood, we have often heard about the marvellous journey of our PM Narendra Modi, and it’s a story that has marked a prestigious place in the history of our nation. Playing such a prestigious character is honestly an honour, but comes with great responsibilities. I am excited and looking forward to the viewer’s response. I am confident they will love the entire series.”
Modi Season 2 – CM to PM will release in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Gujarati.
