This decision was taken at a meeting of the Academic Council held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Professor America Singh. The proposal of the Science Center for Science Center is being sent to the Ministry of Culture and Science and Technology Department of the Central Government. The centre will be developed on seven and a half acres of the university’s land, while the centre and the state government will cooperate together for its establishment and development.

It will cost 30 crores to build it, while a reserve fund of 10 crores will be put into its operation. It will be the country’s unique science centre in its own way, in which 3D will be exhibited for all the curiosities and solutions related to space, solar system, astronomy and science. It will be developed like a planetarium. Along with this, it was also decided to develop a Center for Public Heritage Studies in which folk arts and folk culture will be protected.
