Kota: Stepfather booked for raping minor daughter
Kota: A woman has registered a case against her husband at the Udyog Nagar police station in Kota under the POCSO Act for raping a 12-year-old daughter. The accused is the victim’s stepfather. The Child Welfare Committee has provided temporary shelter to the victim at Nari Niketan and is being counselled. According to Kaneez Fatima, chief of the committee, the victim and her mother told that on Oct 26, the stepfather raped the daughter in the house. He raped her several times before this.
